ServiceCalc is a small set of pricing calculators for freelancers, consultants and small service agencies.
Why it exists
Many service businesses underprice because of small, fixable mistakes: confusing markup with margin, forgetting overhead, or assuming every working hour is billable. Most online calculators give a number without showing how it was reached. These calculators show every step so you can check the working and change any assumption.
How the calculations are made
- Each calculator is a small, fixed formula written in code. The same inputs always give the same answer.
- No AI or external service produces or changes any number.
- Every formula has automated tests against hand-checked examples, zero values, boundary cases and invalid input.
- Numbers are only rounded for display. Calculations use the full value you entered.
- Invalid inputs are flagged rather than silently changed.
What these calculators are not
They are not tax, legal, accounting or investment advice. They do not know the tax rules where you live and do not convert currencies. Read the full disclaimer.
Corrections
If you find a result that looks wrong, please get in touch with the inputs you used. Confirmed errors are fixed, a test is added so the mistake can't return, and the affected page notes the change.
